Pool Rules
- Children under 6 years old must be accompanied in all pool areas by a responsible guardian, aged 16 or older, at all times.
- Any child wearing a flotation device must have a responsible guardian within arm’s reach in the pool.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian while on the pool grounds.
- Diving Well Area and Diving Board
- Swimmers must pass the diving well test to use the diving board (swimming two widths of the diving well and treading water for two minutes).
- Diving board use is not permitted during lap swim times in that area.
- Only one person is allowed on the diving board at any time.
- Only one bounce is permitted per dive.
- Diving is only permitted after the previous diver has surfaced and reached the wall.
- Diving is limited to the forward direction (not off the side of the board).
- Immediately upon surfacing, divers must swim to the ladder and exit the pool.
- Baby Pool Area
- Use of the baby pool is restricted to children 7 years old and under and requires adult supervision at all times.
- Climbing on the roof of the playhouse is prohibited.
- All children under the age of 18 are required to exit the pool for 15 minutes at the top of each hour for adult swim. A whistle will signal the start and end of this period. Swimmers under 18 who have passed their deep water swim test may participate in lap swim in the deep end during this time, subject to space availability.
- Extended lap swim times are from 1:15–1:30 PM, 3:15–3:30 PM, 5:15–5:30 PM, and 7:15–7:30 PM. During these times, diving board use is prohibited, and those not swimming laps must remain in the shallow area of the pool.
- To prevent contamination, infants and toddlers must use the double swim diaper method, which includes a plastic diaper cover over a swim diaper.
- Floats, inflatables, fins, snorkels, squirt guns, or similar devices are not permitted in the pool. Exceptions may be considered for lap swim at the discretion of management.
- Running, pushing, wrestling, or any undue disturbance in or around the pool area is not tolerated.
- Individuals with skin abrasions, open wounds, or infections are not permitted in the pool water.
- Proper bathing attire is required for swimming.
- Glass containers are prohibited anywhere on the property.
- Swan Lake is a smoke and vape-free facility. Smoking or vaping is not permitted on pool property.
- Pets are not allowed on pool property.
- Sand and/or dirt must be removed before entering either pool. An outdoor shower is conveniently located near the Snack Bar.
- Gambling, excessive noise (including Bluetooth speakers and similar devices), or foul language is not permitted. Alcoholic beverages are only allowed with the express permission of the Board of Directors.
- Gum is not permitted on pool property.
- All Swan Lake deck chairs must remain on the deck at all times.
- Swan Lake is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal property.
- Locker room showers are for showering only and should not be left running. Adult supervision of children is recommended in the shower area.
- Loitering, cell phone use, and eating are prohibited in the locker rooms.
- Use of the pool is prohibited during severe weather conditions, such as electrical storms or tornadoes. Directions from Swan Lake employees must be followed during weather events.
- Any member or guest found to be stealing or vandalizing property will face suspension or cancellation of membership. The cost of any property damage will be the responsibility of the member or guest.
- Insubordination toward pool staff by members or guests will not be tolerated and may lead to suspension or cancellation of membership.
- Management reserves the right to deny pool use to anyone at any time.

Guests
- All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times while at the pool.
- Responsible member’s children aged 12 or older may bring guests of the same age or older, even if unaccompanied by an adult member.
- Guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible member aged 16 or older at all times.
- Members are required to remain on the pool grounds with their guests.
- Members are responsible for their guests’ conduct.
- Groups exceeding five non-members must arrange their visit at least one week in advance. Regular guest rates will apply.

A book of 5 guest passes is available for $25. These passes can be used by children or adults on any day, excluding special events.
Important: All guests must be accompanied by a Swan Lake Swim Club member aged 14 or older.
