Membership Identification

Each member must check in at the gate and be identified through use of the photo on file. All members are required to provide current photos of family members. After the first week of June, a member may NOT use the pool until acceptable photos are on file.

Guests

  • All guests must be accompanied by a member at all times while at the pool.
    • Responsible member’s children who are 12 or over may bring responsible guests 12 or older when unaccompanied by an adult member.
    • All guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible member over the age of 16 at all times.
  • Members are required to remain on the pool grounds with their guests.
  • Members are responsible for their guests.
  • Groups with more than five non-members must make arrangements at least one week in advance. Regular guest rates will apply. 

Pool Rules

  1. Children under 6 years must be accompanied in pool areas by a responsible guardian, over the age of 16, at all times,
  2. All children wearing a flotation device must have a responsible guardian in the pool within arm’s reach.
  3. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible guardian while on the pool grounds.
  4. Diving Well Area and Diving Board
    1. Swimmers must pass the diving well test to use the diving board (swimming 2 widths of the diving well and treading water for 2 minutes).
    2. Diving board use is not permitted when the area is being used for lap swim.
    3. Only one person is allowed on the diving board at any time.
    4. Only one bounce per dive.
    5. Diving is only permitted after the previous diver has surfaced and reached the wall.
    6. Diving is limited to the forward direction (not off the side of the board).
    7. Immediately upon surfacing, divers must swim to the ladder and leave the pool.
  5. Baby Pool Area
    1. Use of the baby pool is limited to children 7 years and under and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
    2. No climbing on the roof of the playhouse at any time.
  6. All children under the age of 18 are required to leave the pool for 15 minutes at the top of each hour for adult swim. A whistle will be signaled to begin and end the adult swim. Swimmers under the age of 18, who have passed their deep water swim test, may participate in lap swim in the deep end during this time, if space allows.
  7. Extended lap swim times are 1:15–1:30pm, 3:15–3:30pm, 5:15–5:30pm, 7:15–7:30pm. During this extended lap time, use of the diving board is prohibited, and those not swimming laps will remain in the shallow area of the pool.
  8. Infants and toddlers, to prevent contamination of the pools, are to use the double swim diaper method, where a plastic diaper cover is used on the outside of the swim diaper.
  9. No floats, inflatables, fins, snorkels, squirt guns, or similar devices are permitted in the pool. (exceptions may be made for lap swim by discretion of management).
  10. No running, pushing, wrestling, or undue disturbance is tolerated in or about the pool area.
  11. Admission into the pool water is not permitted to anyone with skin abrasions, open wounds, or infections.
  12. Swimming will not be permitted without proper bathing attire.
  13. No glass is permitted anywhere on the property at any time.
  14. Swan Lake is a smoke and vape free facility. No smoking or vaping is permitted on pool property.
  15. No pets are allowed on pool property.
  16. Sand and/or dirt must be removed before entering either pool. An outdoor shower is located near the Snack Bar for your convenience.
  17. No gambling, excessive noise (including bluetooth speakers and the like), or foul language is permitted. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed except as expressly permitted by the Board of Directors.
  18. Gum is not permitted on pool property.
  19. All Swan Lake deck chairs must remain on the deck at all times.
  20. Swan Lake is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property.
  21. Locker room showers are to be used for showering only and should not be left running. Adult supervision of children is recommended in the shower area.
  22. No loitering, no cell phones, and no eating is permitted in the locker rooms.
  23. Use of the pool is prohibited during severe weather conditions, i.e. electrical storms, tornadoes, etc. Directions by Swan Lake employees are to be followed during weather events.
  24. Any member (or guest) determined to steal or vandalize property will be subject to suspension or cancellation of membership, and the cost of any property damage will be the responsibility of the member or guest.
  25. Insubordination by members or guests with respect to the pool staff will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or cancellation of membership.
  26. Management reserves the right to deny the use of the pool to anyone at any time.
  27. Any questions as to the meaning or proper interpretation of any of these rules may be directed to the pool management.
